SX006 isobutene etherification catalyst
SX006 isobutene etherification catalyst is macroporous styrene type strong acidic cation resin with suitable pore structure, specific surface area and activity. It features low temperature activity, high isobutene conversion, high selectivity, and no corrosion to the equipment etc.
SX006 is mainly used in the etherification reaction of methanol and isobutene to make MTBE. Due to its moderate activity, it helps to minimize the formation of DME.
